Nine planets

12 Rashis and 27 Nakshatras
The Space around the Earth, which is spread across 360° is divided into 12 Rashis which are further divided into 27 Nakshatras. We are all born at a certain time which corresponds with a particular Rashi and Nakshatra. Furthermore, depending on the year, month and day of our birth, the nine planets will occupy any of the 12 rashis as per their movement. Together, all of this information constitutes our Vedic horoscope.
